About Me
Carleigh Hessian is a senior Historic Preservation major at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). She is also double minor in Museum Studies and Architectural History. Heavily involved in student leadership, she serves as a Resident Assistant in the First Year Area, and a Student Ambassador. She is also an active officer in three clubs including the National Residence Hall Honorary, Tau Sigma Delta, and the Student Preservation Association. In her free time, she enjoys serving in the children's ministry at her local church, specifically working with special needs children of the pre-school age. She believes that the heart of preservation comes from making strong connections with the people and communities around her. Her goal as a preservationist is to educate the public through creative programming and positive communication.
