Assisted first year students in acclimating to the SCAD residence life community through creative programming, specialized leadership, and regular communications. Served as an on-campus resource and maintained SCAD policies and procedures.

​

Lead up-beat and informative tours around the Savannah College of Art and Design campus. Provided useful information about the school’s history, amenities, and current cirriculum. Served as a professional representative of the school both on, and off campus.

​

​

Developed lesson plans for 8-10 year olds which taught them basic drawing and painting techniques through an interactive and fun approach. Managed class rosters, material fees, and tuition paperwork. 

​

​

Organized and facilitated programming events for high-school aged students. Helped answer questions about the SCAD application process and college life in general. Enforced residence life and housing policies. 

​

​

Instructed children ages 8-14 in the core skills of drawing and painting. Mentored older students in applying to local magnet arts high schools. Provided constructive criticism on various art projects. 

 

​

​

Cared for children ages 5-7. Escorted campers to and from daily activities and promoted a safe and fun environment. Planned and managed daily activities that were focused on building team working and cultivating their self-confidence.

Assisted well known Korean American Artist Michael Joo in constructing a sculpture displayed in the SCAD Museum of Art. Learned how to properly mix and pour tabby according to historic standards. Documented the entire process with notes and pictures compiled in an online journal.

​

​

Co-lead a team of graduate and undergraduate students in documenting the historic landscape. Drafted detailed drawings of specific features related to the survey, and transfered them into AutoCAD. Assisted in writing the historical signifigance of the site.

​

​

 

Contributed to a team of students that researched, documented, and organize da strong submission to the National Peterson Prize competition. Learned invaluable documentation approaches and techniques. Won honorable mention, and was able to visit Washington D.C, to further our studies.
